Floor plan

Vinyl Room is a lively Burlingame venue that can host everything from intimate gatherings to full private events with space for over 125 guests. The main bar and dance floor create an electric atmosphere, while The Lounge, a row of seven booths along the wall, offers seating for up to 36 or a mix of standing and seating for 50. For something more intimate, The Corner is a cozy booth for up to 12 guests, tucked away but still connected to the energy. Reserve the entire venue and enjoy plenty of space for guests to sip cocktails, mingle, and dance the night away in true Vinyl Room style.

FAQ's

  • Is Vinyl Room 21+ only?
    Absolutely. Vinyl Room is 21+ at ALL times, including private events. IDs are checked at the door by security or bar staff—no exceptions. Bring your ID, not your excuses.
  • Do you need reservations?
    Not required, but highly recommended for large groups or if you want a reserved space for your crew. Walk-ins are always welcome, but if you want to secure a hangout spot fill out our Event Inquiry Form, and our Events Manager will be in touch to make it happen.
  • Is there parking?
    Metered street parking is free after 6 PM.
  • Can we control the music?
    Only if you’re doing a full buyout. Otherwise, leave the playlist to our pros.
  • Do you have food?
    No food available but for events, we work with a preferred caterer who handles all the delicious details.
  • Can I bring an outside caterer?
    We prefer to stick with our caterer, but if you must bring your own, there’s a fee. Light snacks and desserts? Go for it. Full catering? Let’s chat.
  • Can I bring in a cake? Are candles okay?
    Cakes are messy, and knives are a no-go (too much liability with cocktails involved). Cupcakes are perfect! Candles are fine, but we don’t provide plates or utensils.
  • Can I bring in outside vendors?
    Sure, but please check with us first for approval.
  • Can we decorate?
    Yes, but nothing on the walls, no tape, and absolutely NO glitter or confetti. We’re not responsible for lost or damaged decor.
  • Can my guests pay for their own drinks?
    Yes! If there’s a beverage minimum, their individual tabs will count toward it.
  • Can I create a special menu?
    For private events, absolutely! Let us know what you’d like to feature, and provide the menu at least two weeks before your event.
  • Is security included?
    Security is available upon request for an additional fee.
  • Can you check my guests in?
    Yes, but this service comes with an extra fee.
  • Is there happy hour?
    Not yet but we will be implementing one very soon.
  • What type of music do you play?
    Thursday is Latin night DJ starting at 9pm playing salsa, bachata, merengue and more. Friday and Saturday DJ’s start at 9pm playing top 40 and classic throwback songs. Keeping the vibes fun an upbeat!
  • Is there dancing?
    Yes! Dancing in encouraged but not required. Meet us on the dance floor when you’re ready.
  • Is there a cover?
    Generally, no. Occasionally, third-party events may charge a cover, but we’ll let you know ahead of time.
  • What are your hours?
    Wednesday 7pm-12am, Thursday-Saturday 7pm-2am. No early closures here! We stick to our hours because we know you’re thirsty. Holiday hours might vary, but rest assured, we’ll still be open to keep the good times rolling.
